What he said--these are made exactly like your basic standard bullion
SAE's--one of a maximum of 600,000 total of proofs and the BU's. This
combined mintage figure garbage is not right.
The coins very well may be extremely popular regardless of how many they
make so that will keep the values going up on all of the coins due to the
massive cross-over appeal these will have.
So 10 years from now if these sets are selling for 600 bucks you would be
paying for a fancy box, some literature honoring the Marines and a COA.
That's if they haven't stuck some ringers in those sets--they've been known
to do such things in years past.
For example they never hyped that those Cheerios Sac dollars were anything
special. Someone no doubt had spent some of those $600 coins on gum.
Strange it must have been a temporary outage it just let me order 2 sets and they sent me
a confirmation letter.
