I am trying to find the orientation of the following coins.
Traditionally, the US uses the terms "coin alignment" and "medal
alignment". However, in the majority of countries coins and medals are
aligned the same way. Therefore, I prefer to talk of "parallel
alignment" (this corresponds to "medal alignment" in the US) and
"contra-alignment" (which corresponds to "coin alignment" in the US),
but use the terms you prefer.

Aruba
Bolivia
Costa Rica
Ecuador
El Salvador
Honduras
Nicaragua
Panama
Venezuela

Does anybody know their orientation?

Harumph! I don't thinks coins have a sexual orientation. Otherwise I'd
leave them on the table overnight, in the hope that they might breed.

I would consider it extremely unlikely that anyone I have ever seen post to
this group would know. The Krause catalogs are generally silent on this
issue, so it would take someone who actually maintained collections of all
these countries going through his collection coin by coin and recording the
alignments, then keying it all in, and that would take a ton of time. I
have found that the more time I spend researching questions on here and
providing answers, the less likely my effort will be acknowledged.

Of course, I was referring to the rotation of the coins, not their other
proclivities.

That sounds logical enough, James. If you look at my other posts,
you'll see though that I, at least, always take care to thank posters
for their help.
I also posted those same questions on my favourite coin forum, World
of Coins, under this topic:

http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/index.php/topic,5025.0.html

The only one I'm now missing is Aruba, though as one of the posters on
WOC mentioned, probably not all his coins for the countries he
supplied are the most recent available. We did also notice that
alignments had changed in some countries over the years.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet that the alignment of Aruba would be the
same as that of the Netherlands Antilles, as they continue the denominations
and royal portrait of their predecessor coins.

I did not know of the existence of that forum until you linked it, thanks!
I'll guess that you post there under the name "Rupert." In any event, I was
rather taken aback that one poster "despises" contra-alignment. If that's a
big deal for him, he needs to get out more. You may quote me.

Coins seem to be like people - the more they are worth, the less
likely they are to breed. I can't get the Silver Crowns to do
anything, while the Zincents seem to multiply effortlessly.

Well, you know, a bit of drama to start fights! After all, it's mainly
the French and Latin-type people who use contra-alignment.
I guess you were a Reagan supporter, Mr Contra?

Maybe some (most?) of the Silver Crowns are past prime breeding age
for coins.

An old guy walking through the woods comes across a frog. The frog says
"Kiss me and I'll turn into a beautiful princess and we can make love all
night."

The old guy grunts, puts the frog in his pocket, and keeps walking.

"Hey!" says the frog, "Didn't you hear me? Kiss me and I'll turn into a
beautiful princess and we can make love all night."

"I heard you. It's just that at my age I'd rather have a talking frog."
