Fresh Cream's predecessor, Cream, was an instant collector's item in
1998, a true "biennale-in-a-book" that took the contemporary art world
by storm; two years later, Fresh Cream takes the tradition to new
levels. Like its predecessor, but with 10 new world-class curators and
critics each choosing 10 emerging artists, Fresh Cream (hard cover)
showcases work by 100 of today's most prominent and promising talents as
far-flung as Moscow, London, Bangkok, and New York. Full of
photography, sculpture, paintings, illustrations and more. Fresh Cream
is a comprehensive overview of the "freshest" figures in the art world
today... in a lushly illustrated, easy-to-reference format--a unique
gift for any art lover. The condition of this unique art book is
excellent.

For sale postings are totally inappropriate for this group, but was
the first book CREAM the one issued in an inflated clear plastic
pillow? I remember being intrigued but thinking that you would
definitely have to buy 2 of them, one to keep in the pillow and one
where you cut open the packaging to browse the book. A very
interesting concept, but I worried about keeping the copy in the
'pillow' for want of a better word. Am I mistaken or was this indeed
the book.
