Hi, I was wondering if anybody knows anything about a route
called The Cobra in Yosemite Valley. It starts at the top of
the 9th or 10th pitch of the Royal Arches route and then goes
right across some incredibly runout face (at least that is
what my topo shows) and eventually up a curving 5.11a dihedral.
This looks like a fun adventure(I'm hoping to aid the 5.11 :)),
if it wasn't for the runouts and bad belays. My question is
has anyone done this route and if so are the belays still bad?
I guess I am looking for something like, "Yeah, I did it. It
was a little scary, but the climbing isn't that hard on the
runouts. Oh, and they replaced the belay bolts with three, new,
bomber Metolius bolts." :-) :-)

Thanks!
