Yesterday, we went for an ATV ride. That turned into a walkout of several miles, abandoning our vehicles. This morning, search and rescue took us to our vehicles and helped us get them out. I seen this before, small hurricane right before Thanksgiving hits the FL Big Bend Coast raising hell, washing all the boats ashore and toppling so many trees we did not have power for two weeks That was Hurricane Kate in 1985 (or was it 84?).
