Why are dems scared of Palin

The rest of us give her no thought at all. Its like naming the
running mate of Bob Dole, now who was it? However, Palin seems to
have really frightened the dems so they obsess over her whereas the
rest of us have basically forgotten her, weird. In fact, the only
times I think of Palin is when Biden says something stupid........so I
guess I think of her more often than I thought I did but that is
Bidens fault. Maybe their obsession is just a way of covering
Bozama's stupid mistakes. Basically, whenever they bring her up I
start thinking she is waaaaaay smarter than Biden, otherwise she never
crosses my mind.

Please don't lump all liberals in with you-know-who. He's an out of
control, crazy man who can't see any other side of a story than the side
that he wants to see.

My continuing interest in Palin, as I have stated several times, is in
using her to help trash the Republican brand. That's also the basis of
my interest in Sanford, Ensign, Vitter, Craig, et al.

The woman hasn't a chance of holding elective office again. In addition
to her unpreparedness, her arrogance, and her refusal to learn about the
issues, she's also a whiner and a quitter.

She's perfectly suited, therefore, for a job on Faux News.

reasoning in it so why pay any attention to what you say. By your
posts, what you think has no reasoning so .............

others now, would you?

I have no interest in forcing, selling, or otherwise convincing anyone
to adopt my religious beliefs, Richard. In fact, insofar as usenet goes,
I don't even discuss my religious beliefs.

No, Richard. It is my political party. I have a religion. I'm just one
of those sophisticated guys who know not to mix religion and politics,
and when I want to save, I do it at my credit union.

Sorry, I'm busy sending an email to John Ensign's parents...
one of my cats claims to have seen him having sex with a girl from
another planet, and we're interested selling them an indulgence. $96,000
ought to do it.

There's less fear than astonishment.

What's to be feared is that you think she's way smarter than Biden.

That's a scary.

Any INTELLIGENT person will realize Palin is a lot smarter than
Biden. Then again, my dog is smarter than Biden.

Most intelligent people decided last fall that Palin was dumber than a
box of rocks, and since then, additional intelligent people have come to
the same conclusion.

But even people of average intelligence who are intellectually curious
can better themselves, and appear to be bright. Palin, according to the
McCain campaign, was intellectually lazy.

What's Palin's appeal? She was a successful non-thinker, an
anti-abortionist, a non-eastern-elitist, a female joe-the-plumber, a
christian fundie. She pulled all the strings of people like you,
Justhate, Bilious Bill, DK, and all the other insecure whiteys who
cannot deal with a rapidly changing world. More than anything, she is a
female Dubya.

Smarter in what sense? I know the details flummox you righties but
she's definitely smarter about hair and makeup, clothes, fishing,
field dressing a moose. Does she know where the countries of the
world are, their cultures and religions, understand anything of the
constitution or that there isn't a "department of law" that protects
the president?

She may have smarts but they're not well placed to be an executive in
state or national politics. In that line of work she'd be considered
a dunderhead and is.

As Peggy Noonan just wrote, she's not thoughtful. Joe may be a shoot
from the lip kind of guy but there's a brain right in back of his
mouth. Sometimes they get out of sync.

That doesn't make him less smart than Palin.

Even you're smarter than Palin.

Biden is not real smart and intellectually lazy. Otherwise he would not
plagiarize works and present as his own.

There's no evidence you are smarter than loogy or justhate. In fact,
from reading many of your semi-literate, disconnected, babbling posts
here, one might conclude you are a stroke victim.

We all know, for example, that caving and exploring St. Peter's are one
and the same experience.

The reason I'm concerned about Palin has more to do with the choices
that brought her to us.

Republican's think government is incompetent, so they don't seem to
value competence in politicians.

Thanks for eight years of George W. Bush.

Palin is just another politician who is valued for the wrong reasons.
Look in this thread to see how she is valued because she "pisses off
liberals."

Bad reason to elect someone.

Oh that's rich Johnson. Please check your local paper's headlines
this morning. Cheney will hopefully spend the rest of his days
defending against incarceration. There's no question he's among the
most evil men on the planet. I look forward to our system of laws
exposing him for what he is.

What's really funny is that the dimwits think Palin "pisses" me off. Au
contraire. I enjoy every minute and example of her shoving her foot down
her throat. Just about every time she does, she further harms the
Republican brand. I want Palin - and Sanford and Ensign and Vitter - to
keep talking and staying on top of the news. While these numnutzes may
make the GOP base feel better, they aren't building up the number of
voters who will go for Republicans.

This week, I am hoping to see the GOP senators go berserk over the
supreme court nominee, especially Sessions. It ought to be great fun
seeing the boys make fools of themselves.
