You can get them from your Bayliner dealer. It's the sun
that clouds up the plastic not the salt. After you replace
them make a cover for when the boat is not in use.
Yes, U.S. Marine is still in business, they're owned by Brunswick Corp.
and among others make Sea Ray and Bayliner boats (still).
But there is a better solution. VDO, the gauge maker for a number of
european cars and custom automotive gauges, makes replacement guages
that accept the U.S. Marine sending units. They look much better than
the gauges used on the late '80's Bayliners (including my '86 2860).
The address is available from nearly any custom car magazine and "Road &
Track" or "Car and Driver". I'd give you the numbers but, alas I can't
find the brochure.

Check with Doc Freemans Inc. in Seattle Washington (about 40 miles
South of the Bayliner plant) They have bought hundreds of old stock
US marine gauges as well as complete instrument panels from Sun
Runner, and several now defunct boat companies from all across the US.
