You could start by participating in this newsgroup gratis rather than
trying to get free advertising. We know nothing about you or your
abilities. I`m sure with your background you can participate here from
time to time, then maybe, you`ll get some business.

Friends, we have a business to run here, and cannot spend much more than a
few luxury minutes playing on the net each day after checking mail, etc. I
wish I ould. Can you afford satellite charges? It is the only way when I am
at sea several months a year. Also - I spend GREAT DEAL OF TIME talking to
people privately on email about training, career paths, exam problems, (I
tutor via email sometimes),information sources, applications for CECs,
sending contacts for international authorities, passing on resumes and
references, ETCETERA. I help out any time I can and I don't feel that
personal requests sent to me are up for public display within a newsgroup or
they would have been sent in that manner to one of my other addresses or to
those of colleagues abroad - FROM WHICH I HAVE BEEN PARTICIPATING IN
NEWSGROUPS when I can. I send mail from wherever I am on whatever computer I
can if I don't have my own handy.

As well, if you cannot figure out from the ad that I am a very qualified and
experienced professional mariner who would like to meet and work with some of
the PLEASANT people in the pleasure boating world, might I respectfully
suggest that you take a reading comprehension course. Why don't you talk to
me before opening your yap and criticizing what you know nothing about? Does
flaming me make you feel more intelligent? ____________________

Run your business somewhere else. Take a look at Dave Brown and Peggy
Hall, both sucessful business people that do take the time to
participate without regard to future business. I Haven't seen ONE
response you have ever made to this newsgroup...put up or GO AWAY.

You seem to be using a definition of "professional" that I'm
unfamiliar with. At least, no professional that I engage would respond
like that.

Happy Kwanza!

Happy Kwanzaa to you, Cap'n....

Seaman Larry. (It says seaman on my CG document.)

Wanna have some fun? When someone trying to impress you on marine VHF
calls you "Captain", trying to make you feel important, CORRECT them
by telling them you are "Seaman".... Too much fun...

Bet you sell Amway in your spare time, too! I vote with the GO AWAY!
This wasn't set up for you to get free advertising and I think you attitude is
showing you to be someone I wouldn't care to hire.

With all the above contacts and qualifications why would you need to
look for business on this newsgroup? I would think that you would be
searching this newsgroup for motivated people to hire. Anyone who I
ever come in contact with that has that much experience with foreign
dignitary contacts, doesn't need work. They have more than they can
handle already.
See ya. Wouldn't wanna be ya.

Frank - honey - READ.
I am tired of not seeing my husband 10 months a year. Thanks for the knocks.
And by the way - boaters have deluged us with requests for jobs and training.
