alt.obitituaries? alt.fan.oj-simpson? OMG....this Harry Krause is one sick
SOB.
I told you long ago to kill file the ass. Otherwise he will internet stalk
you like he did to me and my family (perhaps also making personal threats to
you and your wife as he did to us).....and like he did to several other
members here. He has driven off dozens of *good* rec.boats members who now
reside only at rec.boats.cruising. A shame.
Kill file and ignore him or he will remain like a bad rash that never goes
away.
I made the mistake of posting my hotmail address. Here's Harry's email in it's
entirety:

Yeah, except I don't hear anyone here calling for Bush's assassination. I

Bingo.
Enough said about the ass. I have better things to do.
Did you cross post your story about the Moto Guzzi Desmo? They'd probably like
to hear about it. Here's a site you can use. Trust me, they'll love hearing
about a heretofore unknown model!

Whom did I feed. My post wasn't cross posted. With Agent, one must make a
concerted effort to cross post, unless one changes the default settings.
Whenever I respond to a message that's been cross posted, Agent asks if I want
to send it to every group or just the current group. I don't know of a time when
I've sent it to other groups.
When I look at the header, above, it shows that Harry posted a message to
several groups.

I think hotmail gets the email address from the sender's software. I doubt that
'Smithers' would go to that kind of trouble to send that kind of email.
Harry has sent me several emails in the past. I set 'Mailwasher' to bounce them
from my old address.
No hard feelings! :>)
Who is the "smithers" you are talking about?
It is very easy to see the IP of the person sending you email, it is illegal
to "spoof" someone's IP, so if someone is spoofing Harry's IP, I would think
hope both Harry and JohnH would contact "smither's" ISP.
There is very few things that will piss off an ISP as much as someone
"spoofing" a IP. They tend to ignore Usenet squabbles, but taking spoofing
an IP very seriously.

Unless 'Smithers' set up a 'gmail' account using harry's name, then I would
assume the message came from Harry, especially given the context of the message.
Why he would deny this is beyond me.
Too funny.......kevin, the eternal boob, bringing up cross posting after
all his lame comments concerning posts of mine that were
crossposted............
Kevin really has is nose wedged up harry's ass once again.

I doubt that any of Harry's detractors would go to the effort of spoofing a
gmail account (which krause has mentioned several times) with harry's email
address in an attempt to get me pissed off at krause.
Why? I already place him quite low on the spectrum of respect.
Note the comment in the email below. It sure uses krause's language.

krause ended up in the obits NG becuase he was stalking a female poster
(madcow) after she left rec.boats.
He's got this large problem with women...

By the way, if you know how to post without using your real ISP or IP why
didn't you do that when you made the post from a new rec.boat poster who had
"seen your Lobster Boat in the Chesapeake Bay"?
You would not had egg on your face when it was noticed that you and the
person you were "talking to" had the same ISP and IP.

Yes. krauses achilles heel is that there are those of us who have been
here longer than he has who remember what he's said and done.

Krause is a liar...pure and simple. He has been caught plagiarizing photos
and ownership of different boats many times. He has "released" boating
stories, but when further questioned about them, it was found they were lies
too. It has been proven thru his lies, that he doesn't live where he claims
he lives, and, in fact, doesn't even own a boat. He gets all of his "boating
information" from the web, which he cuts-n-pastes.
Over the years, he also has been the number 1 contributor of off-topic
posts. He also goes to great lengths to discredit people who don't agree
with him, all the way to point of stalking, and contacting their ISPs in
effort to gain personal information about them.
It is obvious he suffers from incredibly low self esteem...why else would
someone sit on Usenet for 10 hours a day, every day. And while his
ridiculous stories and posts are sometimes amusing, he is actually quite
pathetic.
The best bet is to kill file the liar, and move one...the ignorant troll
just isn't worth the time.
