It doesn't matter. President Bill's leadership led to something positive
and long-lasting in Kosovo, and the majority of people in that country
know it and appreciate it.

There's an armistice in place in re: the Koreas. There is no ongoing
shooting war there resulting in deaths or serious injuries to thousands
of soldiers or civilians or both.

We did not help rebuild North Korea. Eventually, the two Koreas may
reunite. If that happens, we can help the emergent Korea rebuild the north.

North Korea "qualifies," as do Mexico and North Vietnam. Tosk is an
uneducated moron. That you are defending him for his stupidity and

I haven't paid any serious attention to new haven since I left the home
of my parents to go to college. In the last 30 years, I've been back
there only a couple of times to catch up with old friends. The house my
parents owned still looks good, as does the neighborhood. I know,
because one of my buddies still lives in the immediate area, and I
visit him from time to time. The commercial area in which our strip mall
is located actually looks better over time, as do some of my old
summertime "beach 'burb" haunts in milford and branford. I've never
regretted closing down the family boat business after my father died.

I was in montgomery county a few months ago, specifically rockville. I
loved all the new shopping areas and restaurants, but the traffic
congestion on rockville pike was heavier than I would tolerate if I
lived in that area.

Man, that's too bad. So they think the implants are causing the
infection, I take it? Maybe her body just can't tolerate them, that's a
shame, but if the only resolution is to not have implants, I wouldn't
blame her either.

How much aid have we sent Mexico? The problem with socialist countries
is that aid goes into the pockets of the rulers.

LOL... glad you took it in the spirit I intended... A couple of weeks
ago at one of the races, a woman who was running things got up and spoke
for a few, asking us to pre-register for the next even so she wouldn't
have to be outside so much, he blood count is only about 1000 and she
was not even supposed to be there. She noted that it came quick and she
had both removed over the summer so she had fake boobs, then she took
off her hat and suggested we all shave our heads in solidarity;) I spoke
with he later and told her, not unless you need it for a wig. These

amazing... God bless them all, they are in inspiration.

The strip mall is on the main drag in a suburb of New Haven. I'm one of
three partners in the mall, the other two being our long-time family
lawyer and our long-time family accountant, both of whom are high school
days buddies of mine.

The marina is long gone...it was developed as residential property,
though there are some docks for the condo owners.

I looked at that photo and determined the species OK. Determining the
gender is more of a problem. It could be either a homely girl or a
effeminate looking boy. I'm guessing the age to be 17 to 21. What do you

You are probably right about it being a fake though. Who would post a

VN is a communist country. No communist country (except perhaps North Korea)
is a pure society.

Castro merged his revolutionary organization with the communist party.
Again, not a pure state.

VN was never really communist. They sided with the Red Chinese, because we
would not support those who wanted their country back. Truman screwed up
big time letting France back into their colonies after WW2.

Vietnam may not have been communist, but Ho Chi Minh certainly was, but
he was also a pragmatist. He made deals with the Chinese Nationalists
(Chiang Kai Shek), and later with the French, to achieve Vietnamese
autonomy. Both parties screwed him over, and the rest is history. You
are right, we never should have backed French imperialism.

No doubt. We actually have posters here who are proud of their efforts
to kill Vietnamese, as if we had some divine right to do so. What we
should have done after WW II was help the Vietnamese throw off the yoke

the problem was the Frenchies should have not had it back. And we cost the
Vietnamese a lot in the fight against the French. We were supplying the
munitions. De Gulle, who is not one of the admired by me, at least told Ike
to stay out after the fall of the French. Ike did not listen.

I don't really think LBJ wanted a war. I think he was sucked into it by the
allure of the anti-communism tone, and then later by the generals. He was
terribly troubled by the toll it was taking on our soldiers, but didn't do
enough to bring it to an end.
