I would rather got to my local West Marine store and pay less, because there is
no shipping charge involved and I have it in my hands immediatly ready to play
with. Why can't someone honestly post something that is truly less via mail
order. You guys charge a couple bucks less but we end up paying more via the
shipping charge. Fagettaboutit

Depends on what you are buying. I checked on the local price for a
water pump for my Mercruiser - $250. including sales tax. Mail order
from Florida was $120 including shipping. Both were marine pumps and
both were aftermarket (not Merc). I've found other things may, or may
not, be cheaper mail order vs. local purchase. If I need it now - it
is local purchase. If I'm planning ahead I have time to calculate if
shipping is cheaper than sales tax.
