Well, I finally found something in the newer Agent versions that is useful.
My version will download only 32,000+ headers for a group at one time. The
newer versions either have no limit or it's up in the millions.
I believe 1.91 should download 1 million headers.... since Version 2.0
it will download 8 million.

Well, you are probably right. I switched to Easynews, from Cox, and Agent
told me there were too many headers for one group. But I have seen a lot
more than 32000 at times, but never more than a million. I don't remember
what the max I've ever seen is.
Do you know of a way around the 32K limit when specifying the number to
download?

I have been using Version 1.5 for nearly ten years now. As for number
of headers, it seems to download all of them.
