It is almost 1 a.m. and Dennis is now asleep. Steve is out with my daughter
and her friends. This is a good time for me to write this.
Steve is a US Marine and has recently gone through the Marine Corp. special
ops training. Steve is here on a 14 day leave and returns to base on
January 2.
Steve will deploy to Iraq sometime in February.
We just saw another Marine (Jon) recently while on a 14 day leave (the son
of another friend of ours). Jon returned to Iraq on Thanksgiving day.
Please keep Steve, Jon and his fellow soldiers in your prayers. They are
good men. They are your protectors while you sleep soundly at night and
freely volunteered to do so.
A pic of both of them:
Jon is on the left, Steve on the right.

JimH, as an ex-marine myself, I say do not let that boy go anywhere with
your daughter. Marines are great, but not around other people's daughters :)

BTW - Marines are always in my prayers.
Bless 'em both, and all the others. We can never repay the debt.
Steve read your posts asked me to pass along this message:
Semper Fi Tom and Dan.
Thank you JohnH and John G.
