In this crappy newsgroup, the right wing is in the majority. Mindless as
it is, it has circled the wagons. Unfortunately, the same schittheads
who ruined this place - the reggies, the dks, the herrings, the loogies,
all of those who really have no interest in boating, jumped onto chuck's
site and turned it into offtopic schitt, too. It'll be mildly
interesting to see what the dwarfs post there in the future...my
suspicion is that it will mostly consist of mindless, innocuous posts
about boats ("what wax did you use?), photos of grandchildren, horses,
et cetera, and veiled insults about other posters or their boats.
Just like rec.boats.

I'm a moderator on a boating related discussion board and have been for
four or five years. We have more than 70,000 individual posts. Schitts
like Reggie, Loogy, DK, Herring, Florida Jim, et cetera, last about two
posts and then they are permanently banned, and posters like you, who
make snarky remarks about the boats of other posters, are giving a
couple of warnings, and then they are dumped off, too.
I was a moderator on a gun board, too, but it took too much time and I
gave it up. Same sort of rules...the snarky assholes get dumped, and
damned fast.

Your assumption that I don't give a damn whether the Seven Dwarfs live
or die is correct. I encounter a lot of people in my real life, and
fortunately do not have to deal with many like the droolers who comprise
the Seven Dwarfs.
Honestly, I have *no* interest in the children or grandchildren of
people I don't know or like, or their horse photos, or their golf games,
or their travel trailers, et cetera. If someone's wife or kid is sick,
I'll certainly express sympathy and hope, and if someone's wife or kid
accomplishes something significant, then that certainly is grounds for

it's just not interesting to me.
If any of the Seven could or would discuss boats intelligently, and

towards them might be different. When's the last time you've seen
