Skateboarders are cool people. But remember that "stupidity is not
rewarded in the jungle," so wear a helmet.

Anything that has wheels and it's fueled by food is good. We haven't
taken full advantage of the wheel yet.

This is important: DON'T LET DUMB PEDESTRIANS SLOW YOU DOWN!

NOTE: Whenever possible remind pedestrians why you are there.

I do but sometimes they are daydreaming, and they don't expect a
vehicle on the sidewalk anyway. I gave a fright to a woman that did
something unexpected and she was out of breath for a minute or two and
thought she could have a heart attack.

Yesterday I found more pedestrians and the ride became more grinding
than usual. Unbelievably, this is happening in the middle of a BIKE
SHARE PROGRAM that doesn't provide bike facilities. The end result is
that we are all struggling to survive. Regrettably, I see the "dumb
pedestrians" vaguely aware of this struggle in which they are at the
bottom of the food chain. Some apologize for being there, some act
unfriendly. Do they know they have the power to MAKE NOISE and find a
solution?

OK, OK, I'm letting pedestrians slow me down, so I bought this "old
people trike" with a big seat that makes you so comfortable that you
don't care if the old lady blocking your path is only going 1 mile per
hour. You just sit back and relax. Maybe bring a pair a binoculars to
scan the area for something interesting, birds, girls, whatever. If
cars sitting on sidewalk ignore you, just pull out a magazine and
read. Anything but losing your patience or wondering what the hell you
are doing there.

I saw this very cool "ape hanger bar" on the same trike that makes you
look eccentric or rather rebellious. That's my thing.
