My local waters have been fun the past couple of days...

OK, since you requested and to help ease the grieving time for your
friend, I'll try to post a rSTP (riverman-Sized Trip Report) by the
end of the weekend of the first descent we did of a river in Mongolia
two summers ago. Never really wrote one up yet.

Condolences on your friend. Was it a paddling accident?

No, I doubt it. Old age, and possibly disease. I don't know any
