Currents in the Sea of Cortez - and charts!

I am planning a trip to the Islas Encantadas in the upper Sea of Cortez. On a previous visit there I was rather impressed by the currents and tidal ranges.
I can find tide tables for Puertocitos, etc, but no current tables. Does anyone know if they are available?
Also, does anyone have a reliable source for Mexican nautical charts?
