Perfect Murder Now at Sea Kayaker Magazine
Updated March 29, 2013
David Gillette is dead from sea kayaking by following safety
instruction exactly as recommended in Sea Kayaker Magazine, April
2013, p. 31. No, he was not murdered by a paddle float rescue,
admitted to be bogus by Mr. Matt Broze (Sea Kayaker Magazine Murders
and Accomplices ). David Gillette was murdered by an "assisted
rescue", often described as more reliable than a "paddlefloat rescue"
in Sea Kayaker Magazine and the various books on sea kayaking. Both
rescues are fraudulent and murderous for the simple reason that they
cannot get a victim out of the water, keep him out, and get to safety.
Pretty obvious but thanks to Sea Kayaker Magazine for publishing these
details. You see, they would have been dead as a magazine 2 decades
ago if they did not continue the safety fraud of the industry
standard. So they published and recommended the wise and honest words
of John Dowd and the recently deceased Derek Hutchinson: " In this
book I would like to emphasize rescue techniques other than the Eskimo
roll because a backup technique is mandatory...given that relatively
few sea kayakers will ever roll successfully and because workable
alternative techniques are too often neglected...The great advantage
of the Sea Wing (sponsons) is that it leaves the paddler in a more
stable position than before the capsize." (John Dowd, Sea Kayaking,
3rd edition, 1997, pp.90-95) and "The Paddlefloat is not really a
rough water rescue. During trials I found the SEA WING (sponsons) ...
very comforting. I paddled out to sea in rough, windy conditions...I
was able to sit on my rear deck-not something I would normally do at
sea...The rescue potential is obvious." (Derek Hutchinson, The
Complete Book of Sea Kayaking, pp.104-111) but continued to recommend
the deadly paddlefloat and assisted rescue frauds among other safety
instruction designed to prevent victims from getting out of the water,
keeping out, and getting to safety. These details and more are
contained at Perfect Murder Now at Sea Kayaker Magazine
