I currently have a 1998 C90 Yamaha engine installed on my boat. I am
selling my current motor so I can purchase a larger horse motor.
Simply put, my boat is underpowered. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS
ENGINE! I can't get a larger motor installed until I sell the current
motor.
According to NADA (www.nada.com) this motor is worth:
1998 C-90
Model: C90TLRW
Motor Type: Gasoline
Horsepower: 90
Cylinders: 3
Start Type: Electric
Dry Weight: 252
Power Tilt and Trim: Yes
Low Retail: $3,580
Average Retail: $4,070
High Retail: $4,640
This engine will be removed by Ed's marine Superstore located at 12080
Washington Highway, Ashland, Virginia 23005 and they will install
the new engine on my boat. Too bad I can't get a good deal here in
the local area for an engine. You can pick this engine and controls
up there or have it shipped F.O.B to your location at your cost.
Weight will be around 320lbs with controls. With payment in hand, I
will have the engine removed here is St. Louis also for you to pick
up. You can also work Ed's Marine for them to install this motor on
your boat. They have very reasonable prices for labor.
I will gladly submit this engine to any testing you request, at your
cost, in my local area. Fell free to chose a dealer of your choice
and I will drop it off so you can verify this engine has a clean bill
of health. It was recently serviced and is ready for the water.
