If you decide to get a Go-Devil spend the extra $ and get an engine besides the
Briggs. I had one with a 24 hp Onan and I think they are using Kohler engines
now. Depending on what size you get I believe you can now get a Honda engine
as well.
The go - devils require about 3-4 inches of water to run. You can hit stumps,
rocks, logs etc with no ill effects. If the boat will float the go devil will
push it.
One of their dealers is Airboats unlimited in Bainbridge Ga. Is where I bought
mine. The guys name is Paul Dixon and he is building a fiberglass fishing boat
about 15 ft long that works well with the go devil.
