Don's Salvage in Pinnellas park Fla.. it is down town Tampa and across the
bridge towards St. Pete exit ulmerton, take 49th St left to 126 right go to
end of road. a large sail boat junk yard. they have no service ethic at all
only a bad attitude towards most walk in customers but have everything you
need to refurbish a boat. watch the prices they quote everything from the
highest price catalog then 1/2. take your copy of M&E marine catalog and see
what you would have to pay new for any item you pick up. they will not ship
anything to you. you have to go there and browse around. they usually have
many ports and hatches. I got some holding tank hose and diesel fuel line
right off the Catalina yachts truck as they were unloading new hose in to
don's yard. that is the way to buy salvage.
