I'm about to start building a boat (Selway Fisher 1.2, extended to 18').
Does anyone know of the best place to buy Marine ply in the UK. I'll need at
least 11 sheets of 12mm and 3 or 4 sheets of 9mm.

Paul ...

I don't know about the best place but check out Robbins timer at:

http://www.robbins.co.uk/

I've never used them myself (I'm in Norway) but have spoken with them in the
past and they seemed very helpful.

I don't know about the British market but based on an exchange rate of US$1.50
to the Pound that is just about right on with the lowest prices I have found
over here for 6566 meranti. Maybe a dollar a sheet higher.

I assume that price includes VAT?

Not sure about the VAT but I'm guessing (read Hoping) that "dld" means
delivered!
