So what's going on? Clearing old stock? Predictions of a bumper crop or
just a loss leader?
A lot of corn still in the field here for the same reasons. We had 10
days of dry weather early in the month, but a thundershower as I type
this. Most of the beans are out locally. I think NW Iowa up Dakota way
has been drier longer than down here.

Here (near the Elkhorn east of Omaha) I think the soybeans were
harvested several weeks ago (which seems late to me), they are grabbing
the corn as we speak.
Too bad we just stocked up on supplies the other day (don't remember
what we paid)--maybe I should see if we mouse-proofed the store room.....
