Had my first definite Junco sighting of the season this morning as I
went to get the papers. I had spotted what I thought was a junco last
week, but I wasn't sure, as the the glimpse was very brief.

I have noticed waterfowl on a wetland several miles from my house; I
wasn't able to ID them as I drove past, but I know they weren't Canada
Geese--too small.
