Busy day at the feeders

The juveniles have arrived; Cardinals, Chickadees and House Finches, and it's
a wonderful thing to watch. Also, the arrival of a Downy Woodpecker on the
suet feeder (I hope it isn't the same one that was pecking on our cedar siding
at 5AM last fall). Without going into collective bird nouns, I will just say,
we've got a "bunch" of birds, and life is good!

I've only had one baby bird at the feeders so far, that I've seen. A female
Purple Finch. I do think tho' that Tree Swallow eggs have hatched in the
birdhouse ... more chirping coming from there the past few days!
