Their wings. Eagles have broad, straight wings held flat while they
fly.. Ospreys have a distinct, unmistakable 'kink' to their wings.
Eagles are also much bigger.

Ospreys also look 'pigeon-headed' They lack the supraorbital 'brow'
of eagles.

look at the wing configuration--Osprey will look like a gull
wing--Eagles will be flatter

If you are talking Bald Eagle, then Osprey have lighter color on the
underside of their wings. Eagles, young or old, have all dark wings.
