Show you how weird I am--I LIKE Crows (and Ravens, which is a good thing
since I have better luck identifying specific LBBs than I do telling
Crows from Ravens (except in places that don't have both, where we still
have the LBB problem all over again {Large Black Birds}.

Hey Larry,
Way back when I was a kid living with my folks in Edina, MN (just a block away
from SW Minneapolis), there was a family nearby that had a "pet" Raven.
Occasionally, they would let the Raven out of the house to cruise the
neighborhood looking for carrion or food scraps. The Raven always returned
home! Crows are common almost everywhere, but in Minnesota the Ravens are found
in the "wilderness" parts of northern MN, where they follow the wolves and
clean up any scraps left behind.
