Year of the Sparrow around here.

I know there are Eagles in the towns north and south of me so I hope to see
an Eagle over Park Ridge this year.

I went to a good birding spot (strip mines area) and had a great view
of a Red Tailed Hawk. I clearly saw the belly band - first time I've seen
one so clear!

After I learned Birding by Ear I tried to cram More Birding by Ear in my
brain and got totally burned out. I gave it up for months. Now I'm getting
back into it again. Bring on the birds!
