I went to the Barnwell, State Park yesterday for my first of the year
walk in the woods. It was bright and sunny but very cold (for here).
The woods were full of Robins, Goldfinches and Phoebes--not much else
moving around. The far end of the little lake that is the heart of
the park had a good sized flock of Ring-necked Ducks.
