Use fibre washers under nipple heads. Yup. Forgot where I came
across this little bit of info (online) but seems reasonable in the
aid of providing a conformable seat for the nipple head. Which means
you cant then blame the nipple shape for tearing a rim without
ferrules or eyelets.
