It's in the news today. That's telling us the idiots are disappearing
or are going somewhere else. We in Google groups* are creating a
better world, while these idiots engage in gossiping and parading
their sexy pictures. There's no time to lose, attack!

(my comments)

"This guy is a genius: He understood human idiocy and gave it a face."

"Facebook is for idiots. I don't even understand it."

* I'm not associated with Google in any way. By the way, I find their
new groups format totally idiotic. No crossposting for one. So the
geniuses among us will have to go someplace else in order to reach
out. We must reach out to the monkeys because we got an important
message. And what's the best way to reach out anyway?

Another German is famous for taking his life when his Empire crumbled.
He didn't seem to worry about it either.

Maybe he's worrying about my next enterprise:

"I'm launching my own social media: MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO. Time to
invest now!"

Anyway I don't think capitalists take their own lives. They are too
selfish for that. Only madmen, idealists and heroes do. I came across
this dramatic account of Rommel's forced suicide:

Wait, I'm still using the old groups to be phased out soon.

Somebody uses a newsreader and bypasses Google, but that's too
complicated.

I'm afraid I'm mixing up the two characters but Assange is a hero and
Zuckerberg is a loser.

Oh come on now, Facebook's IPO was only 30 or 40 times the company's
actual worth.

I will leave it to others to point out why the emperor is wearing no

When did Zuckerberg become German?

Besides, Zuckerberg and all the other insiders knew the stock was
overpriced at least 30 times, so they sold most of their shares on the
day of the IPO before the drop.

Just another indication that the stock market is a sucker's bet unless
one is an insider (have to have family or tribal connections to get
there), and all the investment advisers are playing the public for fools.

I view it much as the Lotto which is popular despite a
similar outcome for most players. You want to play? Fine
with me. Pay your money and take your chances. Neither has
compulsion or coercion unlike so many more pernicious evils.

Sorry, he's not German and he likes revolution so I take it back:

On Zuckerberg's Facebook page, he listed his personal interests as
"openness, making things that help people connect and share what's
important to them, revolutions, information flow, minimalism".

Maybe he didn't like being rich and that's something that happened to
him.

Now neither one is a loser. ;)

Assange is not nearly as guilty as Robert Murdoch, but Murdoch got
different power and influence.

THIS IS 'THE BOMB'...

Social media—from Facebook to Twitter—have made us more densely
networked than ever. Yet for all this connectivity, new research
suggests that we have never been lonelier (or more narcissistic)—and
that this loneliness is making us mentally and physically ill. A
report on what the epidemic of loneliness is doing to our souls and
our society.

http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2012/05/is-facebook-making-us-lonely/308930/

***

I struck gold! Social Media is making us lonelier than ever! We try to
make up for our fragmentation and isolation by using the digital
media... and we become sick!

I got to get out of the boondocks and be back to civilization. Back to
a community that it's no less fragmented and isolated. Well, it would
be kind of better.

You must have missed that the US political right was promoting an
"investor society" where only the social Darwinist losers would be
working for a living.

Lou,

Nokia is failing because Microsoft wants to purchase them for the
patents they hold, and a new factory in Vietnam. There are other
benefits as it gives Microsoft a distribution system, but the Windows
phone is a flop, that came late to market.

Nokia Board of directors, before Microsoft appeared must be sitting
pretty, on a pile of money to let the company die an early death, but the
employees that were responsible for keeping the R & D going are working
for someone else.

Microsoft believes it can use the patent portfolio to sue its way into a
additional profit, and if you look deep into what Nokia has in their
patients holdings whomever get hold of that company will be rolling in
cash from a good number of phone companies for a long while...

Microsoft has systematically ruined Nokia, so they can become a hero and
purchase it for pennies on the dollar...

I hope there is a group of cooperative phone companies bands together and
does a hostile take over to thwart Microsoft grandiose plans and have
them pay dearly for the manufacture of the last few smart phones they
think they can sell, or will keep for souvenirs...
