Fabricating a water proof roll top laptop bag:
Find a box enclosing the laptop and chosen padding. We recommend one layer hard foam, one softer foam.
Take box apart. Evaluate the cardboard overlaps to accommodate the laptop box with 1.5 inch laps.
Place box over vinyl. Mark and cut.
Reassemble cardboard box using UPS acceptable package tape (WAL)
Tape vinyl over cardboard box, gluing seams as you form vinyl over cardboard.
Tape cardboard box where glue may seep out from the vinyl laps.
Cut out cardboard box. Try a breadknife for pry n chop.
Glue and SEW straps.
