We should ban bottled water and legalize marijuana

Only a handful of states in the Union have a deposit law, so the rest
has a problem with littering. My community and many other communities
are full of shit and nobody has a solution. Oh, they clean once a
week, but the bottles don't disappear. There's no recycling program
where I live --not that it makes much of a difference. The
supermarkets oppose the deposit law so the average Joe doesn't have
much say.

We need a drastic solution:

"BAN BOTTLED WATER"

At the same time we could legalize weed so people can have some
escape. Reality sucks, right?

Now we enjoy unlimited raw materials from the Third World --or so it
seems.

Just like we get manufactured imports from China that in turns comes
from raw materials in Africa or Brazil and Venezuelan oil.

They call it "globalization."

When I worked as a motorcycle courier - with frequent trips to London.

Frequently I encountered lesser used roads that were literally deep with
discarded drink cans.

On one occasion a drink can crushed under my back tyre pinched on as it
collapsed and went up into the mudguard, there it got partially dislodged
and ended up in the drive chain - which it derailled.

It was a pretty rough looking area, and all the time I was working on
repairs, I had that feeling of being watched by lots of eyes!

You probably were. All this is done to slow down the real heroes, who
must fight all the trash society throws at them. ;)

Say, that was UK or USA?

Maybe I should've said it was Londonistan - so you'd know its UK.

There they have a real recycling program...

Maybe we should export all that garbage to the Third World, where they
can recycle.

We already do - over the past few years there have been several scandal
documentaries about 'recycled' equipment being dumped on third world
countries.

For example - car batteries; dumped in a big pile and set fire to, ghetto
kids shovel the molten lead into a wheelbarrow as it runs out the bottom.

For the most part, the cans I was riding through weren't crushed and most
pushed aside like fluid motion - until one nipped on the back tyre and got
hoisted into the transmission chain.

That's their first taste of a car. I still think much of the poverty
though can be helped by other means.
