How many times have we heard or seen behaviour like this?! I've,
frankly, lost count.

Reward issued for hit and run bicyclist

Sunday, December 06, 2009

CENTER CITY - December 5, 2009 (WPVI) -- Family, friends and coworkers
still reeling from the sudden loss of their loved one hope a hefty
reward will lead to a conviction.

39-year-old Andre Steed worked at the law firm of Caesar, Rivise,
Berstein, Cohen and Pokotilow for 16 years.

He had worked his way up the ranks from the mail room to a paralegal.

"He would do anything you asked him to, never complained, he was
always meticulous in everything that he did," attorney Robert Silver
said.

On Thursday October 15 at about 6:30 p.m., Andre was hit by a
bicyclist at the corner of 16th and Locust Streets in Center City.

The biker fled the scene.

Andre suffered massive head injuries and died 9 days later.

A witness describes the biker as a white male in his early 20's,
weighing 140 pounds and wearing a white hoodie with red spots. He was
riding a white mountain bike.

Witnesses told police that the biker didn't seem concerned about Andre
and got up from the ground and asked people if he was injured..

The law firm has put together a $10,000 reward for anyone with
information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person
responsible.

You can place an anonymous call at 215-546-TIPS.

Where did this 'accident' happen? In Center City, PA, right?
Did the incident happen in the mountains? No. Did it even
happen in a rural area? No. This bicycle rider was riding
a mountain bike. He was not a mountain biker. The bike he
was riding was immaterial to the incident. You as such an
asshole Mike.

LIAR! People who intend to ride in the city buy a street bike!
Mountain bikes aren't appropriate, since they have too much rolling
resistance. He was a mountain biker. QED
