Case in point is how we should make people pass a cycling/motorcycle test and if they fail that test they won't have a chance with the driving test! Why? Because it's better to knock a few cones with a bicycle, than with a car, where those cones are bound to be cyclists or pedestrians in real life. Simply some people should not be driving!... more »

Hello, When you cyclists go for rides, what unit of measurement do you use? Kilometers or miles? Personally, for me, kilometers are much easier to comprehend because the units are always divisible by ten. For example, when you've biked a Kilometer, you know that you've gone 1000 meters. If I had a revolution --I do-- in one those Banana Republics out there (hey, plenty of them, don't just think about America), I'd probably take cue from Chavez --yes, he can be smart too-- and swap cars for bikes. Good bikes for that matter. Chavez will swap gas-guzzlers for clean cars CARACAS, Venezuela - Give up your gas-guzzler and get a free car.... more »

I was just looking at the Permormance Bike web page,, looking at headlights.. they have a few on sale. I got to thinking .. some of you must have a headlight ,, something in the $20-$50 range.. what brand, model, type,, etc do ya like the best.
