The TdF is a traveling circus with lots of setup and takedown going on
behind the scenes, but this is truly impressive:

Yesterday the Galibier was 2645m

Yes you could see where the tunnel was lower than the finish
yesterday. Our chinese overlords won't be happy about this.

Yup. Been there. It's almost directly under the summit. I just didn't
realize they would use it.

Travesty. Those last hairpins above the tunnel on both sides are the
best. This was the first time since both the road and the tunnel were
accessible (2002) that they opted for the tunnel. (Before 1974 there was
only the tunnel, between 1974 and 2002 the tunnel was closed.)
