If you click on the online catalog, pages 2 and 3 have his
car collection.

I see that it lists his Shelby GT350 as having a 427 ci engine. If so,
that would be right in line with MB devaluing everything he touches.

There's a Pos-T-Vac/ Viagra theme going on here.

http://mustangs.about.com/b/2011/07/14/1965-shelby-gt350sr-restomod-to-be-auctioned-online.htm

Old Mustang "resto-modded" by a company that was busted for serial
number chicanery. I mean, not that there's anything wrong with
building up an old 6-cylinder 3sp auto Mustang any way you want, but I
don't know what the "Shelby Registry" business is all about, there.
There has been more than one "scandal" associated with these cars (and
Cobras, Cobra Coupes) that no one much wanted for many years.
Including one little problem Shelby himself had with that serial
number thing.
Caveat emptor, baby!

I can't find the auction results, but I really doubt it went for much.
First, it's not a Shelby, it's a Unique Performance Mustang conversion.
"Genuine Shelby cars are among the most coveted vehicles among
collectors". This may be true, but resto-mods are a dime a dozen and
appeal to the gold chain crowd.

Then there is the question of why it was called a GT350 instead of a
GT500 considering the fact that he dropped a 427 in it. This has fake
written all over it which isn't surprising considering who the previous
owner was.

OK, I was interested enough to waste more time and found out that
Unique had some kind of licensing arrangement with Shelby the man,
apparently. Enough to supposedly get a place on some sort of
"registry".
The original 350's were just Mustangs, for starters, of course; but
they were/are still originals and relatively rare, plus being part of
the Shelby legend from the 60's. Taking a secretary's car and
modifying it to beat Corvettes (and Sunbeam Tigers!) was a pretty good
trick.

The trick was making them work and Unique apparently didn't do so well
on the "functioning entity" part.

“Michael Ball is not dead and has not run away to Mexico,” Tronconi
