The ultimate nightmare; Schleck gets pushed off the podium by Levi in the
final TT. The horror, the horror. Had to toss in Levi for the absurdity.

They are forcasting a median time of 64 minutes for this stage.

Is it particularly difficult?

That does seem a trifle slow for around 40K, no ?

I see nothing about the route that would make it difficult. It's not
technical, it's not hilly. Are there consistent (predictable) headwinds?

Right. I just checked

But for some dumb reason I'd thought the distance was around 40Km and
the Gironde being pretty flat I wondered at the time anticipated

Bonanza - This beats the Tour and Giro Caravans hands down:::
Passers-by stole around 10,000 euros after a truck carrying two
million in coins overturned on an Italian road. As the load spread
across the carriageway, following drivers stopped to scoop them up.
