(I'm assuming that somehow tyler farrah snuck onto the norwegian
curling team)
I saw those too, in action even. At first I thought they were pajamas.
Or maybe I was projecting since I usually fall asleep during curling
matches.

What's wrong with playing shuffleboard in your pj's?

That's why she prefers sprinters.
Curling matches - refers to the amount of weight a typical bikie can
move in the exercise known as a curl, namely a match stick.

Well, I can do that with my right arm, at least.
Yeah, but that one is all buff from using the mouse.

I wanted to come up with something suitably euphemistic for you, but
it's just not a challenge when curlers really are screaming things like:
"Hard! Hard! Never stop!"
heather
ps. "easy..easy...right on the button"
it cracked me up when an announcer described it as "chess on ice". I
think of it more as "checkers on ice".
Admittedly, I don't know much about curling and "chess on ice" could be
entirely accurate, but it made me giggle.

So what do you call this: http://www.chessbase.com/news/2007/icechess10.jpg
Curling on a chessboard?
funny!
unless it's speed chess, I just call that cold hell! brrrrr.
heather
and the little ginger on the right could be a young tyler farrah!

from the right angle, it looks like Floyd Landis!
From the people who brought you chessboxing, it's chesscurling.
No crazier than shootskiing,
PS: I've decided to name my 4x-shooting-XCS-costume sport "postmodern
pentathlon."

Now I want to come up with an event that involves those things and
anaesthetics so I can call it the pentatholalon so I can talk about the
podium pentatholalon.

Ugh!

what would be the ideal performance enhancing drug for that sport?
pentosterone? erythropentatoetin?
nevermind. I'll just ask LANCE
Which reminds me, didn't some famous Kennedy clan guy die Frisbee
Skiing?
I call it standing out in freezing weather to watch a
two hour chess match. "Oh is that the time? I promised
to help my ex-girlfriend move into her new place."
