Davey's faith in Justice is fully restored

--
Four more banks in the United States have been shut down,
bringing the number of failed banks to 90 so far this year.

His mental ability to dust himself down and start again doesn't seem to be
in doubt.

Although this does now appear to be a genuine Vino trait, and not in
the knowing that tomorrow he can always reach into the blood bank to
redress the matter. Perhaps this truly is Nemesis in action.

Yep, certainly seemed to be the strongest man out there. He'd be crazy
to dope but then everyone said the same thing about LA in 1999...

It was hard to watch Vino today and not think dope.

Well, it was kind of inevitable wasn't it? Chavanel and Federigo were
in the break, the climbers didn't care, the sprinters had their own
race going on, Ballan went too soon, and the usual French guys screwed
the pooch as usual...

IMHO Vino is reading the race very well indeed.

And rather than feeling sorry for himself, he has dug a win out in reply.
His morale will be high, and this bodes well indeed for Contador while
in the Pyrenees.

I would love to see them try to do something like Lemond/Hinault @
Alpe d'Huez 1986, or Delgado @ Superbagneres 1989, because I think they
could destroy the opposition for good.

Yeah, or Ampler in '99. Or Andreu. Or Dierckxsens. Or Moller. Or
Pantani. Or Roux. Or Beltran. Or Hamburger. Or any of the rest of them
that were doping but either weren't tested or caught. .
