1. The idiot announcers - this morning "It's going to be a hot day in
France with temps approaching 100 celcius"

(global warming has gotten extreme in Europe? )

2. The "all sponsors - all Lance" commercials - Isn't there anyone
else qualified to sell beer, electric cars and cell phones? Is Road
ID the only bonafide product outside of these? If you don't cultivate
some 'stars' for next year and beyond you won't have a sponsor.

3. The painfully long sequeways featuring the same graphics and music
for 4+ years now.... god damn it you cunts get a clue - do like
eurosport does and slam right in and out of the racing without taking
another 30 seconds on each side.

4. The 'good old boys' show... after their inability to spot Lance's
flat tire the other day (RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEIR FUCKING EYES) I have
no faith that these ball lickers even give a shit about cycling.
They're just happy to get a free t-shirt and stay at the hotel
Formule1. There has got to be a better option than these fucknuts.
Frankie is still asking questions like the local high school football
tv coverage despite being there the last 15 years +. C'mon versus if
you're going to have someone ask stupid air head noob questions make
sure she's gots some tits or a nice ass and not a god damn unibrow.

5. Lame graphics - they showed a sprint graphic the other day and it
had all the sophistication of a DeVry freshman class project from
1998. WTF? Did you spend your budget on? Use an xtranormal movie
for fucks sake, they're free and better quality than that communism
era cartoon you're currently using.

I hate you mother fuckers, the only reason I watch is to see if the
set somehow catches fire and you all suffer massive and painful
burns.

They must have really hurt you, bro.
I kind of like the Lance commercials with that fat guy and the
insurance company.

OK, this is a excellent idea.

They could learn from RAI.

Get ready for everything to get worse. Comcast owns Versus; Comcast is
trying to buy NBC/Universal. Once Net Neutrality is killed off, all TV
is going to get a whole lot dumber. The "market" is going to be
whittled down to maybe three major sources for communication and
"entertainment". Without net neutrality, getting access to another
network's programming will cost whatever they charge. Yum.

That's the wrong incoherent nonsense for this NG.

It happens to be extremely pertinent.

The "Internet 2" that Davey was warning about several years ago is
looming ever larger on the horizon.

And the UseNet will probably suffer as much if not more than other
Internet components.

And where will rbr be then?

Even ixquick, a Nederlands corporation, which has Stolen a March on
traditional listing sites cum search engines by refusing to register IP
numbers, and which has become the only search utility employed by any
savvy computer user, is under attack and is in need of support.

Look at "Written Declaration 29", formulated by New World Order
asslicking bureaucrats and endorsed last week by the idiots which, with
very few exceptions, comprise the European Parliament (sic), as a measure
to assist in tracking and/or identifying paedophiles.

This of course is an outright Red Herring. The real purpose of WD29 is
to record, analyze and profile individuals' search habits so that they
can be more effectively targeted for SPAM by Capitalists or classified
as "Terrorists" by m'Bongo's minions for reading the Constitution.

So just go back to polluting the other newsgroups you lurk in and stay
out of RBR

As far as I know, my system picks the most appropriate charset to use -
at least I thought it did

Let's see what happens with this posting and whether I need to make any
changes

One has to realize that Versus audience is very diverse so it's harder
for the general public to identify a single hero. The other factor is
that the Lance persona is so overwhelming that it's easier for the
advertisers to invest in him.

Anyone drinking Michelob Light? Buying an electric car so they can
travel 100 miles to their next stage race? Rushing off to Radio Shack
to join the 'battery of the month club?

“I know that half of my advertising budget is wasted, but I’m not sure
which half”

The marketing morons are wasting all of the money and not just half
when they 'invest in Lance'.
