Reuters posted this story today - from the article

Law enforcement officials say the man is "fairly well spoken and
educated," but very guarded about his identity. As a result of several
short conversations with him, officers believe he may not be from
Utah.

The guy looks familiar but I can't figure out why. It's the smile that
triggers something.

It's George Bush (jr) from a parallel universe. The reason why he
doesn't want to identify himself is that Dick Cheney is pursuing him
across universes with a loaded shotgun.

3 hots and a cot for as long as he doesn't identify himself... sounds
like a pretty smart move for a "fairly well spoken and educated" but
homeless guy with nowhere else to go.

'Round here, we're seeing people get arrested just so they'll have a
place to stay for a night or two, but our homeless aren't smart enough
to pull off the 'refusal to identify' trick so they can stay in
indefinitely. Another trick is to visit a local hospital and 'self-
admit' to the psych ward by feigning severe suicidal thoughts. That's
good for a 72 hour hold, minimum.

But in 72 hours, they're back out on those mean streets again. One of
these homeless guys should go to their local police station, claim to be
Lance Armstrong and confess that they doped to win the Tour. Then they'd
be locked up for LIFE!

Or go to the local hospital and pretend to have a Obsessivecompulsive
personality disorder involving a obsessional neurosis about the doping
habits of a well known cyclist.

Yeah, that's probably illegal too.

Now that's just crazy talk. Nobody would believe you're not faking it.
