Why are the owner's of team not informed of testings? I mean, they do
OWN the team. I understand that testing is done un-announced but after
the testing, the doping agency should inform the owner's that it was
done. Surely if the agency wants to help control doping, any actions
taken should be passed on to the team owners, doctors and even
coaches.

Look at cyclingnews for he latest, he's now claiming the reason he
didn't say anything was that "the UCI" told him not to. Too bad the
reporter didn't press him on specifics on who/what/when this happened.
It will be interesting to see the response to this from the UCI.

"Cycle racing" BWAAHAHAHA!!!!! What a joke...

It's really time for you kiddies to just admit that your "sport" is in
the same league as WWE wrestling and the World's Strongest Man
competitions. Just embrace this reality and move on. Lots of morons
still pump money into those pseudo-sports so cycle racing still has a
chance to live on.

Someone with mad money should just start a cycle racing league where
doping is irrelevant. I mean, actually let it become the freak-show
that it wants so desperately to be. Imagine the possibilities....a
guy built like Schwarzenegger climbing l'Alpe d'Huez in under 20
minutes.

And we know what you're pumping - your fleshlight.

Gee, I wonder why nobody on this newsgroup ever suggested that!
You're a _genius_!

Um, yeah. Like football is any cleaner.

Just three days ago, a local sports radio show was talking about how
Felix Jones of the Cowboys is not a primary running back, partially
due to susceptibility to injury. They said he put on 15 lbs. of muscle
during the offseason to try to reduce his potential for injury. Oh
really? A guy who has had a well structured weight program for
probably at least 10 years? And he suddenly puts on 15 lbs. of muscle
in 8 months?

What made the situation really amusing was that both of the show hosts
thought that was a great idea. No question of how he accomplished it
whatsoever.

Whether "football is any cleaner" is irrelevant. Name one Super Bowl
champion that has ever had their Lombardi trophy confiscated because
some idiot got caught doping. The NFL fans know that when the game is
over, they will know who the winner is and don't have to worry about
the result being overturned 3 months after-the-fact. Pro cycling on
the other hand seems to have no qualms about going back months and
maybe even years and nullifying wins. No wonder cycling is considered
to be little more than a circus sideshow in the good ol' U-S-of-A. I
mean, can you imagine if cycling were actually considered a real
betting sport in Vegas and they pulled this crap? BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Those skinny little lycra-clad fuckers dope themselves to the gills in
order pedal their bikes insane distances at ridiculous speeds. Who
gives a shit. Let them do it, call it what it is, and rake in the
dough. I bet the first jamoke that ever won any sort of cycle race
for real money was probably on a cocaine jag that would kill an
elephant. Embrace it or face extinction.

Stealth model, extra wide opening.

Thanks, I tell my 5 ex-wives, parole officer, and therapist this all
the time.

New genius idea to save pro cycling: CycleDerby. Yes, Roller Derby
but with bikes. Give the riders weapons like clubs, bats, etc. Give
them armor and let them Dope until they are the size of nose tackles.
It will work and people will love it.

Dumbass,

USC just lost their whole 2005 season and the 2005 Heisman winner is
vacant because of Reggie Bush's [parents] transgressions.

BAAAAAHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!! That's the best you've got?
That's the cycling equivalent of a pantload like you getting DQ'd in
the Tuesday crit-- i.e., Nobody Fucking Cares.

Face it, chamois-breath: Yer sport is deader than Jacques Anquetil's
