I am beginning to suspect this creation story is all made up

I'd be more impressed if he walked like an Egyptian.

But seriously, who the hell are these obtuse people that deal with
this? The article quotes one guy as saying that the ape does it to
keep his hands dry when it's raining. Huh? It's raining, the ape is
getting soaked, but his hands stay dry since they're not on the
ground. Yeah, that makes sense.

But the real tip off of how stupid these "keepers" are - the ape is
walking around with logs, and they're interested in the fact he's
upright. Ummm, what does an ape need with logs? Is he building a
cabin? Maybe he figured out how to make fire and he's impressing the
girlie apes - I don't know. But I do know the zoo should work up some
more selective employment criteria.

He needs the log to hit people like you that ask these stupid
questions.

That's exactly what I'm worried about! He could be stockpiling
weapons.

It is a joke, the only point of interest in the article.

Domesticated and feral animals will always use our paving
rather than walk across a lawn. My cat waits on the porch
then when I get home goes down the approach, to the
sidewalk, and up the walkway on the side of the house
to the back of the house, rather than walk across the lawn.
Damn opossums and raccoons walk the top of the fence,
jump on my car, across the car, up onto the porch,
and down the front walk, rather than get their feet in the dirt.
They're animals, not stupid. Same goes for Magilla's dad.

By the way, he cannot run as a biped. That is where we adapted.
Special spring ligaments and tendons in the neck, legs, and foot;
high capacity heat dumping;
big fat ass;
a choice of breathing rhythms;
long legs;
shoulders that rotate independently of the neck
so the face is straight forward as the shoulders turn;
thick discs between the vertebrae;
upper torso decoupled from the pelvis.

Magilla's dad jumps on your car?

Uh, yeah, right. An ape that can stand upright, build a cabin, has
discovered fire and is hoarding weapons, wouldn't know enough to keep
his cards hidden. If you see an upright ape in your neighborhood, my
suggestion would be to _not_ try to outrun it. Just lay down and play
dead. After a few Samsonite-testing swings, and a few broken bones,
you'll still be alive and able to crawl home.

Taken by some kumquats no more clever or enlightened than those they mock.
What do I win?

In a way she could never understand she's somewhat right when
considering the decedents of Archaeopteryx

I still hate the stupid bitch though - even more than him but
sincerely hope that her and bachman run together (i'd even donate)
just because it will assure a 2nd Obama term where he might find his
balls.

Damn. I read that as Wet Sarah shot them. I was sorely disappointed
to find the link wasn't porn.

Stop teasing.
