get as far away from LANCE as you can ...

p.s. LANCE is a dick
I'm sure GH will pass on his double secret key to victory.
Now he's in with Hincapie and Ochowitz.
Doesn't sound like very many degrees of separation, here.

Dumbass,
Isn't Och on your list too?

it isn't, but it's enough. and it shows that phinney can think for
himself and isn't some doe-eyed LANCE fanboy ...
besides, since when is a one-year deal with a team slated to go away
better than a multi-year deal with one that'll be around a while? this
will really demonstrate LANCE's character (for any folks still left
wondering) if he stops talking with phinney or och over this ... what
a prick.
Yes, but it's still a step in the right direction--away.
Taylor was treated well on the Livestrong U23 team, but he's outgrown that,
and RS has no future (one year remaining, RS probably has no interest at all
without Lance racing, and Taylor's smart enough to be looking for a
long-term home & support).
The only way Lance enters into this is that, if Lance had conned RS into a
longer commitment by saying he was going to race the next 3, 4 years or
whatever, then sure, RS might have been a home for Taylor. But with or
without the issues surrounding doping allegations, Lance wasn't going to be
there for RS. This (a very short-term sponsorship) was likely the plan from
the beginning. Which makes you question how ProTour licenses are handed out,
doesn't it? Should a team that's obviously got nothing going for it down the
road be allowed a ProTour license?
And as others have pointed out, BMC isn't without potential issues down the
road as the investigation continues. If Taylor wanted a scandal-free home,
BMC isn't the best choice. Who would be? I seriously don't know. Perhaps a
French team?

Hate? Naw. Just noticing you and your cohort all of a sudden aren't so
particular IRT who Taylor hangs with.
In fact, it could be surmised that Taylor is maintaining certain
professional connec-- I mean, associations.
I mean, he did just beat all the dopers in The Race of Truth, and we
all know what that means, right?
He may be distancing himself from The Great Satan of Doping, but if I
were Jeff Novitzky and saw a callow youth with a family heritage to
maintain, and a rich, promising sporting future ahead of him, I might
decide that, given those previous associations and the appearance of a
calculated distancing at a propitious time, plus his most recent race
result, that TP would be an ideal source of information. "For The
Children" and all that, don't you know? I mean, it might be a little
rough for TP if he cracked, but if you want an omelet...
I think I should go ahead and splurge on that fancy-dan hot air cooker
and start reading up on gourmet popcorn so I can enjoy the show while
snacking, appropriately, gluten free.

Not to mention John Lelangue and the Phonak dude, Rijs ? The guys who
let Landis play with fire.
Son of Robt. Lelangue who worked with and for Merckx. And you know
what that means...
Well, at least we're getting our Pecking Order of Evil sorted out to
some extent here.

Not really ?
