Lance and the rest - why Lance?

I see many posts asking B-Laff if he will be zealous about the other
dopers that placed behind Lance and why the obssessive focus on
Lance?

It makes sense to go after Lance - even after the fact - because when
you take down the King - there's no need to go after the pawns and
bishops any longer.

A Lance confession or (continued overwhelming) amount of evidence.
testimony will reform the sport as well as many others.

A new governing body with real power and not part of the grift (as the
UCI now is ) could result in a sport where riders can still dope but
won't because the new rules will make the penalties too stiff - jail -
forfeiture of winnings, sponsorship, etc.

Several hundred thousand died in Iraq because of mismanged war
policies since GB1 - when all we had to do was take out Saddam. Why
not a better campaign in cycling?

Truth loves to reveal itself, sooner or later - she always comes out.

It's always "new rules".
The "rules" already include "jail -

> forfeiture of winnings, sponsorship, etc."

We didn't "have to" "take out Saddam".
That was a personal Bush-Saddam thing.

And no, the "truth" doesn't always come out. Sometimes, the "truth"
never comes out ("who killed JFK", for example).
Unless you're happy with the Warren Report, of course.

Dumbass,
I think it's cool that someone is willing to fight Lafferty's battles
for him. He's WAY too passive about it.

Dumbass -

Generally true in science since phenomena need to be tested over and
over before conjecture is accepted, but it's not true in history since
events happen once and we cannot go back in time to view an event.

thanks,

Kurgan. presented by Gringioni.

Right. After your pillow fight with the Polgars you've fallen back
into your old/dated/tired habit of loathing/lusting after LANCE.

It's okay - everybody develops a man-crush once in a while...though
they don't last years unless you're gay. Not that there's anything
wrong with that.

So many Amerikans believe the Oliver Stone account as the facts when
it's well known there are over 100 errors in the movie.

Dude, it's not over with Susan Polgar and her known associate who is
under indictment.

We've had several 'brand name' athletes in the last 10 years.
Sometime's it's their own conscience that gets the best of them,
sometimes the bright light of a grand jury or Congressional committee

Dude. LANCE says stop using LOL, ROFL, etc. It's fucking gay. Don't
you watch the commercials?

Except the battle to keep yourself from being a douchebag. That of
course is the biggest and toughest one of all.

When you are around, there is no need for Comedy Central.

Oliver Stone, the word was out immed. on that movie and I deliberately
didn't see it, in order not to add to any confusion.

It's over. In fact, for anyone with a life, it was never on in the
first place. Much like your tilting at LANCE with your windmill, Don
Frijoles.

Dumbass -

And some will get away with it. And some will be falsely accused and
never proven innocent.

That's the nature of any legal system. Legal systems are not perfect
because:

1) they're run by humans and human beings make mistakes

2) sometimes "evidence" which can reveal the truth simply does not
exist

3) sometimes it is impossible to distinguish the real "evidence" from
smokescreens thrown up to conceal the truth. A good example is the JFK
assassination. So much bullshit has been thrown out there and so much
real evidence has been concealed that it's impossible for an objective
observer to know what truly happened.
