... On television, cycling is relegated to funny hours and is
sometimes taunted like Charlie Brown trying to kick a football.

Consider last Tuesday, when a thrilling breakaway with Americans David
Zabriskie and Levi Leipheimer and the Australian rider Michael Rogers
approached the finish line in Santa Cruz with barely a mile to go, and
the Versus network abruptly switched over to hockey. That's right,
hockey ...

[BUT] Much as his critics would like him to, Mr. Landis isn't going
away. Neither is this scandal. Other shoes may drop. Federal
authorities are reportedly involved, and they presumably don't care
who wins the next yellow jersey. They might even be hockey fans.

at this point. When they start commenting on second hand speculation,
it is getting a touch absurd.

I have things to do to fill my time until (if ever) this fed
prosecutor ever makes a statement or calls a witness or does anything
at all related to bicycle racing in the U.S. At least in all this
effort by the press to speculate on FL's impact on the career of LA,
they also managed to comment on the oil spill in the Gulf and
(finally) the administration's general lack of any real response,
other than 'speaking harshly'. This will teach the pelicans to not
vote in the elections...

So, in other words, it was business as usual.

Dumbass -

It's impossible to prove that Floyd made it all up.

If it were possible, however, it would show that everyone who donated to the
Floyd Fairness Fund was ripped off. He lied to them.

thanks,

Fred. presented by Gringioni.

You're very welcome.

How much did you donate?

Dumbass -

Nothing.

I did, however, buy three copies of "Posivitely False" last week, online.
They were new and the cheapest one cost $0.49. Fucking hilarious.

Looks like you have the "Positively False" market cornered.

I know it's hard to believe, but yes.

I'm actually getting together with someone from rbr tonite. We're
gonna show off our fleshlights, then use them while fantasizing about
h squared.

I remember that you were CERTAIN Floyd was clean all throughout the 2006
TdF on the basis of his nonrobotness. When did you figure out that
your evaluation methodology was fucked up?

Very hard to believe. Hopefully one of your buddies will bring some anal
beads. Have fun.

Dumbass -

I went and checked out H-bomb's shop. All sorts of nice machines -
horizontal mills & cute little Cat 30 FANUC Robodrills I'd never seen
before. I always wondered why those horizontal mills cost so much for
a 20"x20"x20" envelope. Well, now I know why - they have double
tombstones, you can load one while the other one's getting it on with
the spindle. We had dinner afterwards and both of us forgot our
fleshlights and anal beads. Dang!

"Positively False" isn't here yet so I couldn't give H-bomb a copy.

Probably around the time his sarcasm detection algorithm was updated.
