Certainly no love lost between Cavendish & Haussler. And DS Jean-Paul
van Poppel was a famous sprinter at who Cavendish might have looked up.

Tyler and Cav seem to be too quick to praise one another and too
respectful for it to be Garmin doing this. Besides, which of their
directors was ever a sprinter?

D'uh, isn't Zabel also the guy who mentored Cav, and in some large
part responsible for his M-S-R win? I don't believe for a minute that
Zabel would stoop to such trickery against Cav.

Hushovd complained and got Cavendish relegated
in the 2009 Tour ... somehow Cav does not strike me
as the forgive and forget type.
Don't know what Cavendish's policy is on waving to Freds.

ganged up on him in stage 4 of the Tour de Suisse?
