Lots of money for an innocent guy to spend to protect his interests when
he tells the truth to the grand jury.
He gets $150 for a pair of jeans. Duh.

Actually, Wachtell Lipton is known to be very well connected politically
to the Democratic Party. I expect the Postal boys to start trying to
pull strings behind the scenes with Fabiani to get the FDA to drop the
case. They'll be very discrete so as not to get caught doing anything
illegal or unethical. Look for Fabiani to take the lead with his
Washington contacts.
Ya think George will wear jeans to his grand jury appearance? I think
not.
can we get a link, bro(s)?
Dumbass,
An innocent guy has just as much motivation to
have a good lawyer as a guilty guy. More maybe.
You were a lawyer, you would know that if it wasn't
for your inability to analyze this case objectively.

That would be a smart course of action in this instance.
It may even work since there really isn't a victim in the alleged crime.
thanks,
Kurgan. presented by Gringioni.
Every crime has a victim.

Not true. Why does Lance even need a lawyer right now if in fact he were
innocent? What is a lawyer going to do outside of a trial? The biggest
misconception out there is lawyers prevent people from going to jail. The
reality is far different.
In Martha Stewart's case, her lawyer let her meet with the FBI and lie to
them. She was then convicted of what she did in the presence of her own
attorneys.
All I see Lance's team doing is trying to get this case to disappear by
pulling political strings at the Justice Department. But I doubt it will
work.

BINGO! I agree. It won't work.

_Always_ retain counsel.
You going to stitch up that gash in your leg yourself?
Do I have to quote that old saw?
"A man who represents himself in court has a fool for a client."

Yeah. You.

I'm sure in your earlier career you were fond of throwing all of your
clients' eggs in one basket. Sue just one party, offer just one
defense. ...how's the new career going?
R
Dumbass -
That's not true.
How about prostitution? Recreational drug use in private settings? etc.
Wrong.
...how's the new career going?
Great.

Prostitution (arguendo) has victims such as society, spouses (who contract VD
through use of prostitutes), tax evasion, facilitating human trafficking,
underage prostitution, etc.
Recreational drug use is much easier....most doped up people get into cars and
drive while under the influence. Happens all the time. The biggest argument
in favor of keeping drugs illegal is to prevent more deaths on highways, which
would invariably happen if you legalize drugs.
