Yeah, but has anyone ever really tipped Phinney as a future grand tour
contender?

If genetics are a good indicator of future success, Roche Jr needs to
step his game to be as good as he should be at grand tours (based on
his genetics) as Phinney has shown to be at sprinting, time trialling,
and pursuiting.

You people don't learn, do you. 5 years ago, you were jerking off to the
likes of Danny Pate...all giddy about his U-boat world championship victory
that you failed to see that most U-23 and junior results are irrelevant.

The question you need to ask yourself is how is Phinney going to win a Grand
Tour when the Spaniards, Italians, Swiss, and Germans (including Schleck
brothers and Cunta-dick) are all doping to the gills?

Where is Phinney going to find that extra 15% unless he resorts to an oil
change on the rest day? The cleaner cycling gets the more incentive there
will be to dope because doping will put you way ahead of most of the
competition.

But we've already seen what a liar Phinney is when he holds Lance up as his
mentor and continues to ignore irrefutable evidence that the guy doped
throughout his entire career for his wins. And that without doping. Lance
would likely not have won 1/5th of the races he did.

If Phinney wants to race clean, he should join The Commander's Stolen
Underground team.
